Cutting and Sawing - Ultra Board may be cut with standard table saws and routers, die cuts easily up to 1/2", although guillotine cutting and hand cutting is not recommended

Painting and Screen-Printing - Water based, acrylic, Enamel and lacquer-based paint system should adhere well to the styrene cap sheets of Sintrex. Paint systems involving solvents should be kept away from the core material. Sintrex should be protected from UV radiation with a water based or other UV barrier coating.

Mounting - Photo mounting may be accomplished with cold mounting techniques done at room temperature. Dry mounting is not recommended. When using spray adhesives, use only those formulated for photo mounting and avoid contact with the core material.

Weatherability - It is common for styrene material s to become brittle with UV exposure. A UV inhibitor should be used to cover both the cap sheets and the core to optimize the useful life of Sintrex
